Major Gifts

Support of Sun Health Foundation projects through contributions is essential for the community to continue to receive quality healthcare.

Gifts of cash and/or appreciated assets such as stocks or bonds allow you to enjoy a tax benefit while helping to fund healthcare facilities, equipment, nursing tuition assistance and much more. Your contribution can be designated to support the project of your choice.

Appreciated Stock or Mutual Funds
Charitable gifts of stock provide you with a tax deduction of the full market value (for shares held more than one year) and capital gain taxes on the appreciated asset are avoided.

Your gift of stock can be transferred to Sun Health Foundation through your broker, and the proceeds can be electronically transferred from your brokerage account to Sun Health Foundation. If you do not have a broker, please call Sun Health Foundation at (623) 876-5582 to arrange your stock transaction.

Credit Card Contributions
Donations can be made easily with your American Express, Master Card, Visa or Discover credit card. Call (623) 876-5330 to make your contribution today.

Gifts of Real Estate
The gift of a residence, business, commercial building or undeveloped land is a valuable donation that is carefully considered by Sun Health Foundation. Donors enjoy a charitable deduction for the appraised value.

Recognition
