Aromatherapy for Calming Distress in Dementia

  • April 24, 2014
    9:30 am - 10:30 am

The effect of aromatherapy is garnering attention in the scientific and medical communities as an alternative therapy for people who have Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. We are learning that certain essential oils have a positive effect on mood, behavior, and even on cognitive functioning and memory. This program will offer superb insight into this underutilized holistic healing approach to providing support to people with dementia. Instructor is Linda Sewell, RN.

This free Sun Health Community Education class is scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 24.
