The Sun Health Foundation, with the help of contributions from faithful donors throughout the West Valley, donated approximately $500,000 for renovations to Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center’s SAGE unit.SAGE, which stands for Support, Adaptation, Growth, Enrichment, offers one of the few programs in Arizona that treats patients who need simultaneous medical and behavioral health care. The SAGE Unit combines psychiatric care with medical care for patients whose treatment requires hospitalization. Patients on SAGE have a variety of behavioral health issues, including but not limited to Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Sun Health Foundation receives grant from Sun City Rotary Foundation for Care Transitions
Sun Health Foundation was one of several organizations to receive grants from the Sun City Rotary Foundation on June 26th. The grant money will benefit Sun Health’s Care Transitions Program.
Sun Health Senior Living earns national recognition for Home Exchange program
On May 3, NBC Nightly News featured a story profiling Sun Health Senior Living’s Home Exchange program. The story by NBC’s John Yang was shot at La Loma Village, and featured residents Lee and Al Rose.
