SUN CITY WEST – Sun Health Senior Living, a nationally recognized operator of three Arizona retirement communities, has named Cheryl Knupp administrator at Grandview Care Center (GVCC), a rehabilitation, assisted living, and skilled nursing facility serving residents of Grandview Terrace in Sun City West and The Colonnade in Surprise.
Knupp, an employee of Sun Health Senior Living since 2004, most recently served as director of Human Resources at Grandview Terrace. Prior to that, she served as administrator at La Loma Care Center in Litchfield Park for five years. Continue reading

During the early morning hours of Monday, Dec. 17 and Tuesday, Dec. 18, nearly 70 concrete trucks brought a total of 750 yards of cement to The Colonnade Villas, following three months of preparation work on the four-story, 36-unit condo-style project scheduled to open in July.
The big pour was to complete the first-floor slab, and set the stage for two months of wood framing and masonry work to take the building up four stories as part of phase one of a major build-out at the Sun Health Senior Living Community in Surprise. Sun Health has launched a new branding campaign, designed to increase awareness of its goal to create pathways to population health and improve the health of entire populations – in the Northwest Valley and beyond.
Recently, the senior leadership team and our boards of directors reviewed the strategic plan that was developed in 2010, shortly following our partnership agreement with Banner Health. Proving that fundraising most certainly is fashionable, Sun Health Foundation is making preparations for its “The Heart of Fashion” luncheon and fashion show, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 16 at The Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park.
Ideal for those with a true passion for fashion, the event features the latest looks presented by stylists from Dillard’s and modeled by some of the West Valley’s top physicians, medical administrators, their families and Sun Health Foundation volunteers. Continue reading
