Our over 4,000 employees and 4,000 volunteers are the heart of Sun Health – a non-profit healthcare organization that exists to serve all ages with excellence in medical care, wellness programs, research and education.
Originally established to provide healthcare to the adult retirement communities in the Northwest Valley of the Phoenix Metropolitan area, Sun Health recently expanded to provide services to the many families moving into the nearby communities. Northwest Valley residents of all ages now benefit from Sun Health’s community-focused services which include: two acute-care hospitals - Del E. Webb Hospital and Boswell Hospital, a world-renowned research institute, obstetrics and newborn care, cardiology, orthopedics, extended care, community services, specialized care for Alzheimer’s patients, special adults, primary care centers, community education and wellness centers, health career programs, and fundraising.
