Get your valuables appraised at Sun Health Resale Shop on May 14

SUN CITY, ARIZ. – Ever wonder what your beloved family heirlooms and yard-sale treasures are worth? Professional appraiser Josh Levine of J Levine Auction & Appraisal LLC in Scottsdale can tell you during an Appraisal Fair, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, at the Sun Health Resale Shop, 14668 N. Del Webb Blvd., Ste. 12 in Sun City.

The longtime appraiser is donating his time for this event. Please call 623-974-2000 for an appointment. Appointments are limited to 15 minutes each and three appraisals per household. Walk-ins will be served if time allows. Monetary donations to Sun Health Foundation will be welcome and appreciated.

Proceeds from sales at Sun Health Resale & Gift Shops benefit Banner Boswell Medical Center, Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center and Banner Sun Health Research Institute.

Grandview Terrace hosts gluten-free luncheon on April 25

Nearly 50 people from across the Phoenix area joined the staff of Grandview Terrace (GVT) for a Gluten-free Luncheon on Thursday, April 25.

GVT is a certified gluten-free CCRC, the only CCRC in Arizona. Attendees enjoyed a wonderful lunch featuring soup, salad, prime rib and vegetables, and a gluten-free chocolate cake. Executive Director Bhakti Gosalia, Lead Residency Counselor Jennifer Lawless, Dining Room Manager Kevin Bright and Sous Chef Curtis Anderson talked about the fact that Grandview Terrace is certified as a GREAT (gluten-free resource Education and Awareness Training) Kitchen by the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA).

Banner Boswell and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center win ‘BEST’ Awards

Congratulations to our hospital partners – Banner Boswell Medical Center and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, which were awarded “Banner Best” Awards today.

Banner Boswell was one of five facilities system-wide that won two awards. Banner Del E. Webb was one of four facilities that won three awards.

Each year Banner Health celebrates the ability to meet strategic initiatives with the Banner’s Best Awards. Each initiative falls within one of four perspectives – Learning, Operations, Customer and Financial – which support our strategic plan for innovation.
