Wellness Community Events

Through a grant to The Wellness Community’s Arizona chapter, Sun Health is pleased to partner with this national nonprofit organization.  The Wellness Community-AZ provides free emotional support, education and hope for people with cancer and their loved ones.  Through participation in professionally led support groups and education workshops, people affected by cancer can learn vital skills to regain control, reduce feelings of isolation and restore hope.

Cooking for Health After a Cancer Diagnosis
Chef Madelyn Pryor covers cancer-related nutrition topics. This cooking demonstration and tasting features vegan menus loaded with antioxidants, phytochemicals, high-fiber and health dairy alternatives.  Healthy weight maintenance and meal planning included.
