Music therapy has proven beneficial to individuals with dementia. Positive
impacts include increased social, emotional and cognitive skills, as well
as decreased behavioral problems. Teri Mock, MTBC, explains that when
incorporated in the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other
dementias, music can shift mood, manage stress-induced agitation,
