Banner Boswell Medical Center’s free monthly education series teaches people about their heart and how to manage chronic heart disease. Participants are encouraged to sign up for multiple classes, as presentation topics vary throughout the year.
January featured topic: Success Over Heart Disease: Watch a panel of health care professionals discuss tips and tools for managing and preventing heart disease. Panel members include: Amy Lafon, RN Manager, Telemetry Unit; Girish Kaimal, clinical pharmacist; Alise Jenkins, exercise physiologist; Nicole Hahn, registered dietitian; and Linda Sewell, RN, stress and stress reduction.
This free Sun Health Community Education class is scheduled from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Banner Boswell Medical Center, Support Services Building, Memorial Hall, 13180 N. 103rd Dr., Sun City.
