Community Education

The Sun Health Community Education series promotes healthy lifestyles, provides information enabling attendees to maintain or improve their independence, and educates the public about research and advances for improving their physical and emotional well-being. The nonprofit program offers a wide range of health, healthy living, and personal and financial safety topics tailored to older adults. A sampling of programs includes: heart health, cancer support and osteoporosis care; methods for coping with chronic conditions like Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes; medication management; and consumer protection. Held at venues throughout the West Valley, most sessions are free and hosted in partnership with local medical and senior care experts, Banner Health and the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy.

Space is limited and our events fill up quickly. For an updated list of events and to RSVP, click here or call (623) 455-5741.

Events with less than 10 reservations are subject to cancellation. We make every effort to avoid it, but will contact you in advance if an event is canceled.
