Volunteerism and Community Engagement at an Arizona Nonprofit

Becoming a VIP at a Phoenix nonprofit isn’t all that hard – all it takes is a little excitement, a strong devotion to community, and a love of giving.  Volunteers in Philanthropy – or VIPs, as they’re called by the Sun Health Foundation, a Phoenix nonprofit organization that strives to better medical research and provide top health care to patients – are community members who dedicate themselves to volunteering in order to raise funds for hospital needs and research institutes in Arizona. And you could be one of them!

As a tax-exempt Arizona nonprofit and the core charitable giving partner for the Banner Boswell Medical Center, the Sun Health Foundation relies greatly on the kindness and dedication of its 4000 generous volunteers. And whether it’s working in a gift shop or helping plan and host a fundraising event, the community volunteer opportunities within the Sun Health Foundation are never ending.

Come help us plan the Pebble Beach Lexus Champions for Charity golf event, host the 2012 Healthy SUNsations Annual Gala, or give your time to working the spring fashion show – volunteering with us isn’t only putting time into a wonderful cause, it’s having fun! And each and every one of our VIPs knows that by making time to volunteer with us, their hard work leads to proceeds that provide support for orthopedic, cardiac, neuroscience and research programs here in Arizona.

So if you’re interested in helping the community, making lasting friendships with other devoted volunteers, and giving some of your time to help host a fun and beneficial fundraising event, join us at the Sun Health Foundation. We’d love for you to be our next VIP.
