Sun Health Administration

The Sun Health Administration provides leadership and supports the efforts of our Communities, Wellness and Foundation business units.

Sun Health Foundation

Sun Health Foundation is the exclusive philanthropic partner of Banner Boswell Medical Center, Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, Banner Sun Health Research Institute and Sun Health Wellness. Contributions to the Sun Health Foundation also support the programs, classes and services provided by Sun Health Wellness.

Sun Health Communities

Sun Health Communities owns and operates three Life Plan Communities—Grandview Terrace, La Loma Village and The Colonnade—as well as the Sun Health At Home® program. Both residents and Sun Health At Home members have access to unmatched amenities, community clubs, social activities and lifetime access to health care.

Sun Health Wellness

Sun Health Wellness develops and implements industry-leading, community-based health and wellness programs, classes and services at the Center for Health & Wellbeing. By offering these resources to the community, we strive to improve the overall quality of life of those we serve.

How We’ve Cared During COVID

Prior to the declaration of a worldwide pandemic, Sun Health had already begun preparations for the potential impact that COVID would have on the organization by developing communications, evaluating supplies and discussing emergency planning needs.

In March 2020, Sun Health quickly established and/or modified cross-functional teams to address the pandemic. The focus was on meeting the needs of the organization and all the customers we serve, including team members (staff), residents and community members/clients to the Sun Health Center for Health & Wellbeing and the board of directors.

We are aware of the importance of our team members to the overall success of the organization, and in 2020, we began compensation efforts to reward team members for coming to work every day facing the challenges that the pandemic created. These included our new Vibrant Pay program, as well as COVID non-work pay, shift pick up bonuses and shift differentials. These programs are very important to supporting our team members during a challenging time.

How We Protect Our Sun Health Family

Vibrant Pay
Vibrant Pay was launched to reward team members for coming to work every day and facing the challenges that the pandemic created. At its peak, Vibrant Pay provided employees an additional dollar an hour for every hour worked.
Keeping the Workplace Safe
During the pandemic, we’ve worked to keep our team members safe at work through adequate PPE supplies, as well as testing supplies, contact tracing efforts and training in health and safety protocols.
Commitment to Compliance
We rely on internal subject matter experts to help steer our organization through ever-changing local, state and federal regulations. These efforts have not only helped Sun Health navigate through the pandemic, but also built teams and systems that will support our business post-crisis.
